How can we live the non-dual understanding that we share our being with everyone when separation still feels so real? Rupert says: ‘The appearance of separation is not a mistake. It is the nature of experience itself. All experience takes place through the subject-object relationship, so recognising our shared being does not suddenly change the way the world appears.’ ‘What is required is a conscious feeling into our shared being despite appearances. Begin with those you love and trust, then gradually extend this understanding to those you find difficult.
