CienciaDeSofa is science communication aimed, in its author's own phrase, at distracted minds: explanations that demand no prior training yet give up nothing in precision. Born as a written project, the channel carries the same working method into video, with chemistry and materials science as its main ground. A good part of the catalogue turns on the periodic table, treated not as a chart to memorise but as a repertoire of stories. Which element is genuinely the most dangerous, and why the intuitive answer fails. Why it has been so long since we added a new one. Which is the most expensive, and what sets that price. What makes neon peculiar, reacting with almost nothing, or hafnium, whose reputation deserves review. Alongside runs a line on extreme materials: what the truly lightest substance on Earth is, and why the claim that nothing exceeds the hardness of diamond no longer holds.
