Bishop Robert Barron

This is the channel of Bishop Robert Barron, Catholic theologian and author, given over to brief commentaries on faith and culture. The material complements the weekly sermons published by his apostolate, Word on Fire, and gathers several strands of work in one place. At its core are the Sunday sermons: expositions of the week's readings that take up substantial questions ( the heart of Christianity, detachment, the Word taking root in the hearer, the trust that all things work together for good ) in a characteristic blend of classical theology and contemporary reference. Alongside them sit the "Bishop Barron Presents" series and work of wider reach: pieces on the virtues as an answer to an increasingly vicious online culture, conversations on political philosophy, commentary on historical and civic occasions, and larger audiovisual projects such as the feature film "Heaven in Stone and Glass", on sacred architecture.
