Biblia Sin Complicaciones

Biblia Sin Complicaciones is a Spanish-language channel devoted to explaining biblical passages, books and episodes to viewers without theological training. Its purpose, as its name and catalogue suggest, is to remove the barriers to a text many readers abandon for lack of context. The repertoire combines systematic exposition with close study of particular passages. There are broad surveys ( every psalm attributed to King David explained in order, the Sermon on the Mount in full, the book of Daniel, the kinds of fasting that appear in Scripture ) alongside pieces focused on single scenes: the ten virgins, the five loaves and two fish, Mary anointing Jesus with her hair in John's gospel. It also takes on ground rarely explained to the ordinary reader: the four hundred years between the Old and New Testaments, the sense of the first word of Genesis in Hebrew, and texts outside the canon such as the book of Jubilees. The work leans regularly on the original language, on a passage's historical setting, and on its relation to the rest of the biblical corpus: the tools of study, set out in everyday speech.
