The Spirit of Fasting and Petter Nord by Selma Lagerlöf: an audio visual experiment

This is an extract from a Swedish author's short story and it came about after I had tidied my office (long overdue) and put a comfy chair near the window. I then thought why not set up an inexpensive microphone and a boom arm, and maybe use my old Sony ZV-1 camera and see if I can get through a few lines on my kindle. What larks! writ very small. The book is not about detectives or criminals I grant you, but I stumbled across it the other day and thought it was interesting. Now on watching it back after I filmed it I realised that it's not a great camera angle, the sound is a bit rough and ready and the edits are necessarily clunky, but I quite enjoyed doing it and thought I'd put it up. If anyone fancies hearing the rest of the story I might record the rest. The mic by the way, and I know some people are interested is a SM7B knock off from Thomann, a BC500?, and it doesn't sound too bad, especially as I mastered it in minutes. Plus, although Spring has certainly sprung it's a bit brass monkeys up in the grim North so one might as well muck about with gadgets as do anything else in the 'outen-welt'.
